What I Stand For:

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, I specialize in serving clients who lack the time or desire to keep up with a quickly evolving market by managing and monitoring their financial plan and investments to ensure these tools are working to help clients realize their goals. As a Certified Investment Management Analyst®, I oversee qualitative and quantitative analysis related to the management of clients’ investment portfolios as well as serve as a member of our Investment Team which manages asset allocation and security selection decisions.

Outside of Work, You’ll Find Me:

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Ellen, and our golden retriever, Clark. We are enthusiastic travelers, and seize any opportunity to explore new destinations. I’m also an avid college basketball fan as well as a fierce KU basketball fan.

In the Community:

John actively participates in various charitable and civic endeavors in the Kansas City metro area. He previously served as the Sponsorship Chair for the Bacchus Foundation, which raises funds for different charities annually. He also contributed as an Advisory Board Member of Geeks for Kids, an organization dedicated to building and distributing custom electric power wheelchairs to children with mobility disabilities. During his tenure at KU, John was deeply involved in Theta Chi Fraternity, where he held roles such as Recruitment Chairman and Marshal. He also participated in Rock Chalk Revue, a student-led philanthropy raising substantial funds for local charities. Notably, John was recognized as a “Five Star Wealth Professional” by KC Magazine from 2018 to 2024.
