What I Stand For:
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, I specialize in serving clients who lack the time or desire to keep up with a quickly evolving market by managing and monitoring their financial plan and investments to ensure these tools are working to help clients realize their goals. As a Certified Investment Management Analyst®, I oversee qualitative and quantitative analysis related to the management of clients' investment portfolios as well as serve as a member of our Investment Team which manages asset allocation and security selection decisions.

Outside of Work, You'll Find Me:
Spending time with my wife, Ellen, and our golden retriever, Clark. I'm also an avid college basketball fan as well as a fierce KU basketball fan.

In the Community:
John has been involved in a number of charitable and civic organizations in and around the Kansas City metro area, including formerly serving as the Sponsorship Chair for the Bacchus Foundation, which raises money for a different charity each year. He also served as an Advisory Board Member of Geeks for Kids, which builds and distributes custom, electric power wheels to kids with movement disabilities. During his time at KU, he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity, where he served as a board member for two consecutive years as a Recruitment Chairman and Marshal. While in Theta Chi, he was a four-year participant in Rock Chalk Revue, a student-run philanthropy that raises, on average, $50,000 annually to support local charities. John was named a "Five Star Wealth Professional" by KC Magazine from 2018-2023.
